A Great Piece of Architecture

I chose this image because I love the story behind its construction. It's located in France and it was designed and built by Cheval.

Apparently one day he tripped on a stone and was intrigued by its unique shape. Throughout the next 33 years he would collect stones and go back to that same spot to build his unique palace. Such dedication is inspiring. 

He eventually finished the building in 1923, the year before his death.
